Trekking in Bhutan is an exhilarating experience. Even as the world mourns the loss of
its ecology, this small Himalayan Kingdom is emerging as an example to the international
community, with more than 72 percent of its land still under forest and a great variety
of rare plant and wildlife species. Our trekking packages offer ardent adventure lovers
to experience and explore the raw and rugged terrain of Bhutan through misty trails,
snow clad mountain peaks and dense forests that are home to numerous rare and endangered
species of wildlife like the Blue Sheep, the elusive Snow Leopard, the Himalayan Black
Bear, the Golden Langur & the Takin.

Bhutan is located at the junction of two major biogeographically realms the temperate
palearcti and the tropical Indo- Malaya-and extreme variations in climate and altitude,
Bhutan posses vertebrates and more than 60% of the endemic species of the Eastern
Himalayas. The Kingdom has more than 620 bird species, some of which are globally
threatened, including the Rufus- necked Hornbill, Black-necked crane and Pallas’s fish
eagle. The internationally endangered species 'the Black Necked Cranes' have made
Bhutan its winter roosting place. Bird watching tour program
can be arranged based on the interest of the clients.

The Country's forest have 7,000 vascular plants, 360 orchid species, 46 species of
rhododendron and about 500 species of medicinal plants. Bhutan and the country is a
true biodiversity heaven for nature lovers and specialist.
